I fell in love with Goosenecks State Park. We arrived well after midnight on a moonless night, but the skies were blanketed with stars that faded just above the horizon. Everything else was black. Even on the way there the drive through Monument Valley was black, the only hint of a "monument" would be an ominous lack of stars.
The next morning Goosenecks was reveled with the rising sun.
I wish I were there now...
