Thank God! District 13, where I reside is a mess of gerrymandering! That has to stop and it's illegal.

Yea, I'm in District 13 as well. Too bad about Bill Randall.
ReplyDeleteBut in a gerrymandered state like NC, where an election with the force of this one comes around only once every few generations, I'll take my wins where they come.
Recognize, though, that our state legislature has gone Republican for the first time since the late 1800's. Perhaps our state constitution's requirement of drawing districts along county lines (in the NC constitution as a bulwark against gerrymandering) will be recognized.
Safe districts are in no one's interest but the Rep.
