Where was Sen. Richard Burr (NC) at 5:13 AM When Ted Cruz was Defending Individual Liberty?
Where was Sen. Burr when liberty called at 5:13 AM?
Why does Senator Burr (NC) sleep through the call for liberty that these patriots rose to defend?
In the 2016 presidential race Burr will in all likelihood be attempting to ride the coattails of one of these presidential men back to his senate seat.
Will you trust Burr with your liberty again?

Sen. Richard Burr's (NC) rejection to defund ObamaCare lays bare for the world the hollowness of his promises to fight ObamaCare

Burr guiding your doctor in Burr's interests |
Sen Richard Burr stood with Harry Reid in regard to ObamaCare on Friday and he explained his defection from conservative principles to the Charlotte Observer.
Sen. Richard Burr via the Charlotte Observer:
“I voted today to advance the exact bill that a handful of my colleagues asked for. Filibustering such a bill is not only the height of hypocrisy, but also lays bare for the world the hollowness of this so-called strategy. Continuing resolution or not, Obamacare will get funded because it is largely made up of mandatory programs. A legislative strategy that takes into account neither the rules of the Senate nor the mechanics of the law you are seeking to dismantle is not much of a strategy, and making things up on the fly is not responsible governing.
“Instead, I will continue to work with my colleagues to bring people together to pursue serious legislative proposals to get rid of Obamacare, and make the case to the American people of the dangers of this disastrous law.”
Actually Burr voted to advance the spending bill for the express purpose of allowing Harry Reid and himself the ability to strip the defunding of ObamaCare from the bill. Had Burr stood with Cruz and other Conservatives in the Senate Reid would have been forced to shut down government so as to protect Obamacare from defunding or support the defunding of ObamaCare. And remember neither ObamaCare nor shutting down the government are popular among Americans.
So when faced with the opportunity to force Democrats to defund government, an unpopular path mind you, in defense an equally unpopular law, ObamaCare, Richard Burr folded. Why? Why protect Democrats from themselves?
And why would Burr attempt to pass off the gibberish above? Is the damage of his disunity with conservatives not worse than a partial defunding of ObamaCare, which as he notes is all that can be achieved due to mandatory programs?
And would a win for Republicans on ObamaCare not be better for Republicans than the disunity fostered by Richard Burr?
Frankly, Burr's above statement is not only the height of hypocrisy, but also lays bare for the world the hollowness of his promises to fight ObamaCare. He was not there when conservatives needed him. Instead Richard Burr prefers to guide your doctor toward Richard Burr's interests and ObamaCare, funded with your money, is the perfect vehicle for that.
Remember how Burr has failed you in 2016.

Ted Cruz Proves Senators Like Sen. Richard Burr (NC) Trade Only in the Promise of Conservatism but Fly With Obama...
Unfortunately these Senators trade only in promises. Rather than stand with campaign promises to fight ObamaCare they, instead, allowed the bill to go to the Senate so that Democrats could remove ObamaCare defunding from the bill.
Thank you, Ted Cruz, for exposing Republican socialists like Sen. Richard Burr (NC), Sen. Lindsay Graham (SC), and the ever Present Sen. John McCain (AZ) for the friends of Obama they are.

Why is Sen. Richard Burr (NC) More Invigorated by His Homosexual Beliefs Than by Our Belief in Religious Liberty?
Remember DADT? It was Bill Clinton's middle ground solution to homosexuality in the military, a kind of silent tolerance for homosexuality. Yet, like ships passing in the night we have seen DADT fall away in regard to homosexuality while at the same time the faithful are increasingly finding their beliefs under a de facto 'Don't ask, don't tell' policy that is quickly slipping toward intolerance.
Sen. Richard Burr (NC) supported with heart and vote the repeal of DADT in regard to homosexuality, yet Burr is silent in regard to marching religious intolerance in the military.
Of course, there should be no need to bring up the obvious affront to liberty this represents. While there is a First Amendment protection for religious belief, there is none for homosexual belief, yet Burr is not so invigorated by First Amendment protections as he is by his homosexual beliefs.
Is this a man who represents you? Your beliefs? Your Constitution?
It is no longer enough to claim one is conservative, one must actually be conservative and vote conservative if they also claim to be a Republican.
While Burr does not claim to be a liberal or a Democrat neither does he lead as a conservative or a Republican.
Whatever Burr is, it is unAmerican.

Today Sen. Richard Burr (NC) stood with Harry Reid on ObamaCare...
Democrat support for ObamaCare is falling with all but the most ardent Democrats and Richard Burr of NC.
Today Burr choose to stand with Harry Reid in an effort to allow the Senate to strip the defunding of ObamaCare from the spending bill proposed by the House.
When all Americans, even unAmerican Democrats are abandoning ObamaCare Burr embraces it. What is wrong with Burr that he so cavalierly treats not only conservatives but all Americans with such disdain? Immoral.
Burr, explore conservatism, explore liberty and take your pick-pocketing hand out of my health-care.

Arrows at Ready, Sen. Richard Burr (NC) Takes Out Cruz and His Own Constituents...
According to Burr, it's dumb to defund ObamaCare...
Burr no longer represents Americans, he represents his own interests and his desire to have a hand in ObamaCare money.

NC Senator Burr - Why does Burr Choose ObamaCare Over His Constituency?

I voted for Burr the last time he was up for reelection and on one occasion months ago wrote to him but have received no response. None. Burr, however feels free to speak to Huffington Post and Huffington Post takes joy in quoting Burr as he stands with ObamaCare:
Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.) told The Huffington Post that he still thinks demanding that President Barack Obama's health care law be defunded in order to avoid a government shutdown is a "dumb idea," as he deemed it last July. How is any momentum against ObamaCare a "dumb idea"? Unless Burr supports ObamaCare. I no longer feel represented. And, of course, I no longer support Burr.

A Middle East Foreign Policy Amid an ObamaFog of War
Let's look at Obama's foreign policy record in the Middle East.
- Leave the fledgling democracy of Iraq to the Muslim barbarians despite our history of success in defending, for 65+ years, our nation building efforts in the democracies of Japan and Germany.
- Leave Libya to the Muslim barbarians after destabilization.
- Leave Egypt to the Muslim barbarians after destabilization.
- Now attempting to fight on the side of Muslim barbarians in Syria and leave a destabilized Syria to those same Muslim barbarians.
A foreign policy that is only apparent in hindsight is a foreign policy not in the interest of America.
