Iowa voter to Newt:
Newt Gingrich, what you just did to Paul Ryan was unforgivable… You undercut him and his allies in the House. You’re an embarrassment to the party.
I like Newt, and believe he raises the bar of debate, but if he is unaware that supporting a "version" of the individual mandate is an untenable position in today's conservative party then he has no business in the race.
Newt reveals himself to be an establishment conservative that seems unable to evolve with the basic new realities such vehement rejection of the individual mandate that have been forced on to the conservative Party by the Tea Party.
Newt Gingrich has damaged the conservative position in the ObamaCare debate.
Embarrassing, and less than a conservative.
