Vaginal Birth Suddenly OK After C-Section...ObamaCare Cost Cut?

polifrog

It was argued during the debate over ObamaCare that the bill would drive costs down. So far costs have, instead, risen. Polifrog wonders how hard ObamaCare is looking for ways to cut costs as the increasing pressure on American wallets due to ObamaCare during what is increasingly becoming a depression makes the program more susceptible to the ever growing movement to repeal the whole of the unconstitutional mess.

Today we find that the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has OK'ed vaginal births after c-sections when before ObamaCare they found the vaginal births too dangerous after c-section.

VBAC is known to increase the risk that the scar left in the womb from a previous cesarean will tear during labor, leading to massive bleeding that can threaten the baby's life. That has led to previous guidelines urging caution for women who have had cesarean sections.

Vaginal births are cheaper than c-sections and stand to save ObamaCare money at a higher risk to women and the unborn.

Under ObamaCare Polifrog will no longer trust the suggestions from organizations like the ACOG that owe their power to government.

  1. ACOG has been under pressure to change their guidelines for over a decade. Numerous studies have shown that VBAC carries fewer risks than cesarean in healthy pregnant women. Please prove this to yourself by reading the studies.

I really like this article as it is very clear:

  2. Polifrog has found it increasingly more difficult to believe government run or funded studies after the Global Warming lie was exposed through climategate.

The Global Warming nonsense has damaged all science. Hence, Polifrog will trust his instincts before your "studies".

Why was the decision made now? Answer: It is an ObamaCare cost cut resulting from the already swelling cost of the boondoggle.
