Referencing Breitbart's piece...
As long as the "TeaParty is Racist" meme continues with NO proof of TeaParty racism, Shirley Sharrod should be considered a racist for her racist treatment of a white farmer as she clearly acted under racist motivations. The proof is in what she said. Not only should she be considered racist for her actions, but the NAACP audience which included the NAACP president should be considered racist for their accepting attitude toward Sharrod's self described racism. The fact that she later corrected her racism in no way absolves her of her racist tendencies nor does it absolve the NAACP for its approving attitude of Sharrod's racist actions.
Furthermore, the double standard in absolving racism is flagrantly obvious in this episode when one considers the accusation that the TeaParty is racist when there is NO proof. The fact that there is no proof has been pointed out repeatedly, yet the accusation is not retracted, but rather continues to be promoted by our media. In the Sharrod affair our media runs herd-like to absolve her despite her confession of racism otherwise.
We live with a poor excuse for a media.
