What does that do for this board? Is it still open? Of course not... it becomes fragmented; liberals only talking to liberals. My guess is that that would be an undesirable result if open discussion is the true goal.
Of course, the solution is to tie posting rights to open discussion. If one chooses to block another individual, they should lose their posting rights.

But that choice should not result in a less inclusive GGP. As it stands now the OP posts of those who block others are not viewable to all members. Perhaps I am wrong, but this stands in contrast with the open discussion foundation upon which the board is built.
The only solution is to bar OP posting by those who block other members.

Laurel McCollum Driver It is the concentration of JGW comments that folks find dangerously irritating. They choose to remedy this by his dispersal via fb blocking….. A damn good idea for the next time my GGP experience is polluted.
